Manager, Corporate Partnerships

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and working closely in collaboration with
the program team and other development staff, the Manager, Corporate Partnerships will
play an integral role in the development and delivery of successful, volunteer opportunities
engaging corporate partners’ employees and contributing to the overall success of the
organization's corporate giving strategy.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit, coordinate, and deliver volunteer opportunities in collaboration with Program staff for summer programs.
Tracking of volunteer hours and reporting to CSR partners in partnership with SITT team and Salesforce leads, maintain up to date data on corporate giving partner sites (ie Benevity, Double the Donation etc).
Create a volunteer onboarding process and recruitment process in partnership with CDO.
Work with program directors to identify, create, and and execute meaningful volunteer opportunities.
Support corporate engagement/sponsorship strategy for annual events including: DreamMakers, Women in STEM, Math Summitt, and Annual Education Summit.
Design and implement plan to attract and retain new corporate donors.
Ensure fulfillment and tracking of corporate giving opportunities associated withvolunteer activity, including company matching programs.
Coordinate with CSR leads to synchronize key touchpoints to support partners philanthropic giving goals around volunteerism and employee giving.
Train, support, and communicate with volunteers leading up to events.
Work with CDO to create a multi year plan to support the growth of employee giving, corporate match, and volunteer engagement as a viable revenue stream and way to enrich program experience.
Support grant reporting related to volunteer tracking and fulfillment & support the submission of volunteer matching grants.
Support other development administrative tasks as assigned.
Build strategic partnerships with related non organizations, businesses, consultants, and other community partners to support volunteer engagement.
Increase organization’s visibility and your network of contacts by attending community events.
Develop and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies including employee giving, matching gift programs, and other corporate gifting opportunities.
Supporting Board of Directors (BOD) in fulfillment of volunteer engagement related to requirements outlined in the board by laws.
In cooperation with CDO, carry out all responsibilities related to the solicitation of sponsorships for events, the delivery of sponsorship benefits, and relationship management of event sponsors.
Act as a liaison between sponsors, corporate partners and the SVEF Communications team to ensure sponsors are integrated into promotional campaigns and promotional commitments are fulfilled.
Liaise with Program staff to keep up-to-date on program service delivery in order to maintain timely and compelling correspondence and sponsorship opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
3+ years’ experience working with volunteers and/or non-profit programming.
Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
Working knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce, Benevity, Double the Donation.
Demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector or corporate social responsibility.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage many moving projects at once.
Ability to learn quickly on the job and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong community network in the Bay Area.
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure, to problem-solve, anticipate change and react efficiently with challenging deadlines and priorities.
Strong organizational and project management skills with multi-tasking abilities.
Works well independently, but also works collaboratively with a team in a fast paced environment with a willingness to learn.
Demonstrated proactive and creative analytical skills.
Grant or proposal writing experience is required.
Experience managing databases and working with fundraising software.
Google Suite, Excel, and Salesforce proficiency.
Demonstrate ability to manage a project from start to finish.
Ability to lift and move project supplies (up to 50 lbs) and be standing throughout the day
Valid driver’s license; comfortable driving cargo vans and 10-14’ trucks.
Marketing, nonprofit, and sales experience preferred.

PREFFERED START DATE AND SALARY PARAMETERS
Immediate start date. Competitive salary based on experience, excellent benefits package.
Salary range from $85-90k.
LOCATION & WORK SCHEDULE
Currently working 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote. The Manager, Corporate Partnerships will be expected to travel within the Bay Area. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
